Do you want to sing with us?

In 2021, the first #MoreHispano Virtual Choir was premiered, created by Cantoría with the performance of one of the most emblematic pieces from the vocal ensemble's repertoire, the 16th-century carol "SUS SUS SUS" (excerpt from La Trulla), by Bartomeu Cárceres.
The project, carried out in collaboration with the University of Murcia and the City Council of Murcia, thanks to the "Reactivos Culturales" program (developed by the Department of Culture and Celebrations to promote culture during the lockdown), has been warmly received by singers from all over the world. In total, more than 200 people registered through the Culture Service of the University of Murcia to be part of this choir, which will ultimately include singers from 12 different countries: Canada, Germany, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela, and Morocco. |
Objectives:
|
Our dream is to internationalize the Renaissance Iberian repertoire through the following participatory experiences, where we will provide specific content tailored to individuals who already have prior training (solo singers, choir members, or instrumentalists). These experiences will be designed for different levels of proficiency and languages, with the goal of expanding the potential audience as much as possible.
Do you want to sing with us? Take a look at the two participation options:
Cantoría Virtual Choir 2024For singers who want to be part of the participatory choirs we organize. The next edition will be in 2024 with the performance of 'Oy comamos y bebamos' by Juan del Encina for Carnival.
|
Participative ChoirFor event organizers who want to hire the participatory choir activity to sing alongside Cantoria. They will receive access to all the necessary and specialized material for concert preparation.
