Virtual Choir #MoreHispano
The Virtual Choir #CoroMoreHispano, created by Cantoría, celebrate Christmas 2020 with one of the most emblematic pieces of the vocal ensemble's repertoire, Sus, sus, sus, (fragment of La Trulla) by Bartomeu Cárceres (here you can watch Cantoria performing the piece performed at La Cité de la Voix). The piece performed by the #MoreHispano Choir will be published on December 23 on the networks of the Murcia City Council.
The project is carried out in collaboration with the University of Murcia and the Murcia City Council thanks to the "Cultural Reactives" program (developed by the Department of Culture and Celebrations to promote culture during confinement). This project was very well received by singers from all over the world. In total, more than 200 people from 12 different countries: Canada, Germany, Spain, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Colombia , Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela and Morocco.
The Virtual Choir #MoreHispano was born from an initiative by the vocal ensemble Cantoría -More Hispano- with the aim of promoting the Iberian polyphonic music of the Renaissance period.
